I love that it’s finally warm in the city. It’s almost as if it’s like living in an entirely new place as compared to the vibe when it’s cold out.
In today’s post you’ll see a huge range of fashion, and I’ve also included some Instagram shots from the weekend.

Instead of just focussing on New York City street style today, I thought I’d take you for a little walk.
One of the many treasures in this city is an elevated park, appropriately called, The Highline. Back in the day it was an elevated train track, but as the city grew the tracks stopped being used. That is, until it became wildly popular green-space.
The photos below were taken on my way to The Highline, and a few were snapped while we were on it. Oh, and there’s one little Ben Affleck photo surprise at the end. Enjoy!

Welcome to today’s street style fashion post!
There’s plenty of warm weather fashion to come, but there’s one thing that’s already standing out to me. And that’s sunglasses. I’m guessing that the reason is because it’s not quite warm enough – back in the 50’s later this week – for people to go full throttle with their fashion creativity just yet, so they are having fun with shades.
My guess is that most people that enjoy fashion also enjoy design, so hopefully today’s post is relevant to you.
We moved to a new apartment a couple weeks ago and are still putting the finishing touches on it and there’s two things I’d love your feedback on today: a chandelier and a media console.

This isn’t an easy blog post to write, and it has nothing to do with fashion, but if I don’t write it I think it’s going to weigh on me. So here we go.
My fiancee and I drove to Rochester, NY early Saturday morning to give our dog Coco away. And every aspect of it was heartbreaking.
It’s not something we wanted to do, not by a long shot, but we are both very busy people and the more we talked about it, the more we felt like it was not fair to keep her here in the city. In no way was the decision based on convenience, it was more about the reality of how much this city can stretch a person and how often we are not home.
