The coat is stylish, warm as can be and has some of the features I’ve been looking for such as a quality hood, pockets in the right place, etc.
If you know anything about fashion you know that Burberry isn’t inexpensive. Although, when compared to other Burbery coats this one is remotely inexpensive at a lovely $895. And yes, I’m saying that with a little sarcasm.
I thought about the coat for a few days, and finally decided to go back and purchase it. On my way home after purchasing the coat I realized that my shoulder was getting a bit sore because the bag the coat was in weighed so much (Uh oh #1).
When I got home and gave it a thorough test fitting, I eventually laughed at myself and thought, “This thing is soooo not practical.”
I love the fit, the style and the features… but I don’t love feeling like a marsh mellow. That being said, I returned the coat the very next day.
If you like larger feeling coats you’d probably love this item. If so, stop by your local Burberry store (this coat isn’t being sold online) and give it a go.
Sorry for the remotely dark photo below, but if you click it you’ll get an idea of what it looks like on. Again, great fit – just a bit bulky for my taste.
