I took a nice walk this weekend to enjoy the cooler weather in the city, and decided to take my camera along to capture a few snaps.
And I’m certainly glad I did.
The city is at that interesting time of year when fashion is evolving — almost weekly — because of the changing temperatures. It’s almost as if peoples outfits loose color as quickly as the leaves on the trees. But that’s classic NYC for ya.
Hats are quickly popping back out. This shot was taken at the fountain at Washington Square Park.
Human art. These people don’t know each other. They simply sat down to listen to a recording of sorts.
I really love this shot. There’s something about stylish women crossing the street that really catches my attention. The style. The motion. I dig it.

My assumption is that they are promoting a hat brand.
I wasn’t looking to take a photo of a leaf shaped like a heart, but it seemed to find me. There’s a lesson there for people constantly “looking” for love. Stop looking so hard and you’ll be surprised at what happens.
The pants are pretty fantastic.
I can’t exactly say why, but her coat seemed to captivate me.
